ATTACK ON JONATHAN: Jimoh Ibrahim Rubbishes Media Report

ATTACK ON JONATHAN: Jimoh Ibrahim Rubbishes Media Report -

Business mogul, Barrister Jimoh Ibrahim has disowned a report circulating on the social media in which he purportedly attacked the person of Dr. Goodluck Jonathan, Nigeria's immediate past president.

Ibrahim also denied owning a personal Twitter account.

Ibrahim was quoted in the report said to have been copied from a Twitter handle that bears his name,  as calling Jonathan 'thief with PHD'.

The Ondo State born Global Fleet Group boss was also reported in the report to have attacked a former aviation minister, Femi Fani-Kayode.

In a statement forwarded by him to this magazine this evening, Barr. Ibrahim writes:

"My attention has been directed to  certain statements purportedly issued by me through a ‎Twitter account in which invectives were hurled on President Jonathan. In the same vein, my attention was also drawn to the fact that such vituperations had also been directed at Chief Femi Fani-kayode.

I wish to reiterate that I do not own or maintain any Twitter account either directly or by proxy. President Goodluck Jonathan is a brother and a quintessential gentleman and I hold him in high esteem. Chief Femi Fani-Kayode is a bosom  brother and friend of utmost regard.

The general public is hereby put on notice to disregard any statements emanating from the said fake Twitter account.

Jimoh Ibrahim. OFR, CFR.‎
